MOVING Project - Mountain wine and territory in Trentino

MOVING was an EU Horizon 2020 project that aimed to build capacities and co-develop relevant policy frameworks across Europe to support the establishment of new or upgraded/upscaled value chains that contribute to the resilience and sustainability of mountain areas. The project engaged value chain actors, stakeholders, and policymakers in a total of 23 European mountain regions in 15 countries. This Practice Abstract focuses on the wine production in the Trentino region from the Eastern Alps in Italy, especially Trento Protected Denomination of Origin-DOC), a sparkling wine obtained with the champenois method.
