Optimizing Viticulture for Climate Change in Croatian Wine Production

oder

Detaillierte Beschreibung

This research project focuses on the application of ampelotechnical interventions in viticulture and wine production in Croatia to address climate change challenges. By examining the optimal timing of interventions like fertilization and pruning, the study aims to enhance grape quality, increase yields, and improve the overall composition of must and wine. The project also seeks to reduce production costs for growers and winemakers while providing recommendations for adapting production practices to climate change without additional investments. Ultimately, the goal is to boost the competitiveness of Croatian producers in both domestic and international markets. The results will be disseminated through various channels such as professional conferences, scientific symposia, workshops, and publications in relevant journals. Additionally, the project is expected to have a positive impact on animal and plant health and highlight opportunities for utilizing by-products in the viticulture and wine production processes.
