FERTICOOP-GO develops innovative tools for sustainable livestock manure management and precision fertilization, focusing on reducing phosphorus levels, optimizing compost quality, and minimizing ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions. The project tests rapid soil fertility assessment methods and evaluates biogas production in flexible silo storage. Conducted by Catalan agricultural cooperatives and IRTA, it supports climate-smart agriculture through digitalization and environmental monitoring. Funded by the Rural Development Programme of Catalonia 2014–2020.
